Mollox
Sure its getting into the tailgate? There's a connection in the pipe in the inside left of the boot - behind the trim where the CD changer normally lives which is regularly a weakness. Tried that? Odd that this has happened in summer though - its normally due to water in the pipe freezing, which leads me to ask - have you checked if the jet is blocked? Tomk
did check the jet is blocked , but i can hear the water and when i lifted the tail gate i can see it leaking out the bottom.... rear window was changed my autoglass 6 months ago so i recon its become lose as the muppets did not fit it back propperly,

Mo-S3
hi Tom, getting the trim off can be bit of a biatch, so dont be too scared when trying it ok, What you have to do is remove the 2 screws from within the interior grab handle, the one on the tailgate. Then... you need to pry the trim away starting at the bottom of the tailgate using a long flat thick screwdriver with a piece of cloth to lever it against where it touches the painted surface. Use a torch as as you pry it outward and you will be able to see the clips and then work your way around the bottom of the whole section. The clips are very tough so you may have to give them a good jerk to release them from the body. The trim contiues uo the sides of the tailgate so you will have to do the same there but again be very carful not to damage the plastic trim. Upon refitting make sure all the clips are back in the plastic trim and not on the body.
