ian_m
I had to replace my front tyres yesterday, but in all honesty, I am sort of glad, I really hated the Michelin Pilot Sport 2's that were on there I know a lot of people rate them but I didnt like them at all!! So I now have a set of Goodyear Eagle F1's A much better tyre IMO
Insurance Jon
never had that many miles out of a tyre yet?

Sparky
I have P Zero Rosso's on mine. Fantastic tyre in wet and dry, but wears out quickly!
ian_m
I had Eagle F1 GSD3's on my Golf GTi and they are by far the best tyre I have had on any of my cars
Omi
I got less than 5000 miles out of a pair of Michelin Exaltos shortly after fitting the limited slip diff... The Goodyear Eagle Venturas I've got on now have lasted about 15000 and have only worn out due to masses of negative camber.
NewNiceMrMe
Well I only managed 9,000 out of the rears on the M3 Cab.... However, interestingly enough, this A4 Avant that I've just got had it's front tyres replaced by the dealer - and it had 9,500 miles on the clock. It's that stupid front wheel spin and crap ESP I'm sure.
Snail
A_S you big queer!!!! I drive a feckin diesel and struggle to get that many miles out of a set of tyres, you must drive almost as slowly as Ari
s4dreamer
I think I got around 13000 out of mine on my A4 before having to replace the whole lot. The Toyo's I put on were far, far better than the Michelins (I think) that were on first. Got 15000 out of the fronts on my R32, and the rears have plenty of tread left. Milo
16,000 out of the front Dunlop sports on my A4 tractor (with hardly any motorway miles). The rears look like they'll be good for another 100,000. I drive like a tart
Sparky
Or you could drive live Chav (read that as in Granny style ) and get 30,000 out of a set of tyres.
Milo
Chav's tyres last longer than his wheels

NeilB
I've got about 9,000 out of my Coopers (Probabaly the hardest tyre compound known to man) as there tending to understeer at wet roundabouts now.
shark_90
I've done well on these ContiSport2's, but the first set I had on my ZS only lasted 9,200 miles. Oops.
jimdiesel
I used to get 4500 - 5000 miles out of the front tyres on my Alfa 166 3.0. 226bhp and FWD were not a good mix.
Riz
I used to be very good with the mich`s. I had around 20k miles out of them on my 206, about the same on my S3. But its safe to say that the R32 wouldnt have even come near 15k the way i drove it. Screeeech Riz

[/ QUOTE ] Sparky, Out of curiosity, what spec are your Pirelli Rosso tyres. My new car has these as standard on 245/35 R19, and I am trying to get a price on these to see how they compare to the price of the PS2s that were on the M3.
