On way home i pulled up at the traffic lights at the roundabout when this red boxster pulled up on the right off me. he revved his engine i thought oh here we go. the lights changed and we were off. He got about a car length infront of me until i went from 2nd to 3rd coming up along side him and actually overtook him going round the outside of the Roundabout then shot off up the road towards London. Looked in my mirror to see where he was and he had spun his car YES YES YES Sorry dont condone racing on roads but it was great im Buzzing now........Boxster owners keep your cars im now 2 and 0 against yas. Oneday they will stop trying to big themselves up everytime they see me. I know you wanted to post your rage there but its better suited here and probably not fair on all the other boxster drivers that weren't the one twit you came across We want more drivers on the site, not less!! I recently typed out this thing about a TVR 350 driver who gave me a bit of a spirited run along the local dual carriage way, then lost it and spun it around the roundabout and into the hedge....but I deleted the message and kept what I wanted to say for PMs only. Driver was fine and car was fine. But it was freaky at the time. Funny thing about that experience is that I have seen the bloke several times at the petrol station since and we always seem to get into a conversation about each others cars. GenocidalDuck Posted November 17, 2005 Author Report Share Posted November 17, 2005 Its funny i posted on the Boxster thread because i am really annoyed that a Boxster owner wanted to race me even though he had the better car which everyone knows. Not as though im a unknown quantity. Everyone knows that the Boxster is probably the benchmark for a respectably priced performance car. To me its like if i pull up next to a lesser spec TT and try and race it from the lights...The odds are stacked in my favour whats the point i just look stupid. I wouldnt mind know if a lesser spec TT pulled up alongside me and wanted abit of a burn. Then fair enough, Its a challenge to them. but when your looking for the race when you know youve got the better car is nothing but a hollow victory. But then comes to the post on this thread and its type out different because even though i wasnt looking for the race i did race and i won against a better car and im well chuffed and wanted to tell someone this late a night best place to tell someone is on here BTW very nice Monaro..
