Horror upon horrors........ EEK2.GIF

I noticed the other day that my leather seats (rear only - no bugger sit's in 'em) have a white residue deposit. (and before you lot start, we leave that sort of activity back in the house........)

I use Autoglym leather care which has always suited me in the past, but I'm now thinking it may be how I apply it to the seats.

Both front seats are fine, the only place where the 'residue' builds up is when the seats are not used too often.

I normally use the same cloth (time and again) to apply the product.... is this the reason why this residue is being left...

Any tips welcome, no doubt Bushy will be trying to flog me some leather care on Wednesday !

Either way, I gotta clean those seats.......

I cleaned the ol' gal twice last week....... suicide.gif

I've noticed this 'phenomena' blush.gif even with the Meguiars leather cleaner. I probably clean the seats every 2 - 3 weeks and have noticed the white residue in between the seat creases..I just put it down to where more than normal conditioner has dried and caked up... To me its not really a problem as buffing with a cloth in betweeen the creases, normally gets rid of it... Top class leather cleaner though! notworthy.gif

On a similar note : anyone know how to get silicone spray stains out of leather seats.

Got overspray the other day after doing the window seals and it won't come out. Tried my Autoglym cleaner and it went for a couple of days and the reappeared!

Any thoughts?

I personally used to use the Autoglym stuff but found it too shiny

Not sure on the residue, are you buffing it off fully?

You know the only sensible solution so I will put some in the car for tomorrow jump.gif
