Thnsk Dan Steve 09 it is, I checked after your first post but got scared to reply in fear of looking more of a Tw*t because of my bizarre local dialect blush.gif

20mm spacers & FK Suspension it is, people on the thread were claimin handling probs in the wet with 20mm spacers, is that really the case?

Also FK suspension, is that the Koni silver whatever they are called and are these what other people would recommend handling/ride wise.

Whilst I'd like to get the car to sit lower I'd prefer to tweak it to handle better so will what Steve09 has done be good for looks alone and would it be best complimented with Anti Roll Bars aswell

As far as I know, the 20mm spacers he has in the back will affect the handling. It best to stick with uprated anti roll bars, strut braces and coilover kits and a Haldex PP. Up to 15mm spacers at the rear is considered ok but its usually only cosmetic unless like Mook, you need to clear the large brake kit he has.

You can use 20mm spacers, but you will add a lot of additional load to the rear hubs, because you're moving the load out by a total of 40mm on the car.

FK use Koni internals - they're just a cheaper version. I've never driven a car on FKs, but have on Konis (on one of my old Mk4 GTIs). Depends how much you want to spend, what you want to use the car for, and how much you care about handling and how much you care about whether your car should look good or drive well.

Personally, I don't care what it looks like. I'm more interested in the characteristics of the engine and mechanical grip. But most people who've seen my car will tell you that anyway - it's very rarely clean...

In terms of suspension options, you could choose from FK, Koni, Bilstein or KW.

I only run 10mm spacers and these are to clear the front Cayenne calipers. I fitted 10mm at the rear as well to retain the same overal track.
