Booster
Me and the Mrs are off to Norfolk at the weekend to my folk's caravan. Sky box is currently showing 12% free so we've got lots of telly to catch up on! Question is, if I take the Sky+ box with us and plug it in without an input from a dish, can I still watch stuff that I've recorded?
Snail
I very much doubt it. You'll be plagued with signal lost warnings. Have you not got a video/dvd recorder you can archive stuff onto?
CarMad
Why don't you unscrew the cable out of the back whilst your at home and see what happens.
Big_Dan
You can't watch anything without a connection to the dish - as we found when we moved house. Very frustrating!
Booster
[ QUOTE ] Why don't you unscrew the cable out of the back whilst your at home and see what happens. [/ QUOTE ] I would do but getting to the back of my TV is not an easy job!! It would appear from the above post that it doesn't work. Bugger! Cheers anyway

Sparky
It definitely doesn't work without a Sky feed. Engineer and myself confirmed that when moving house. What a bad design!
Pincher
But a good design from Sky's point of view.......
