NewNiceMrMe
Sounds like warped discs to me. Isn't that a sure fire sign of them?
P_G
I would have said so, brake fluid possibly or lack of it but disks more likely.
hashluck
agree, sounds like disks
Scotty
I have the same. What do you reckon to theory that there's no such thing as warped disks? HERE
NewNiceMrMe
Thats very interesting. Does it offer a solution for correcting the uneven layering on the disc though?
danksy
I have read this before, and since it is written by Stoptech and backed up with a heap of tehnical information i would have no reason to doubt it So rather than warped disks, you more than likely have a deposit build up on your disks Time for a big brake upgrade
JasonP
I had similar problem, replaced front discs. WIthin a month, it started to happen again although not as severe, had discs skimmed on car foc and also a bush replaced as well. About a month later, same again. This time, had discs skimmed off the car (apparantly this is the best way) and thus far no problems. Garage checked all calipers etc and all ok, reckoned I hadn't let the discs bed in for enough time before giving them some welly. If they go again I will insist on some new discs. fjfr
I have this on the S3 - the stearing wheel judders under high speed breaking (but only when the disks are hot) it feels slightly sketch, but both garages said my ARB, disks & pads looked fine.
