Brisel
Just a quick one - I am stuck in Newcastle-Upon-Tyne for a while & fancy getting a Miltek fitted to my Mk IV R32. Does anyone know of a supplier and fitter in the area please?

There is a local specialist who custom build systems using same grade materials and can build it to your requirements, i.e tip size and shape, volume and tone. petsy
hmm, I wonder if that guy will have done all the R&D that Milltek has done in order to produce the end product?
P_G
He knows his stuff, lets put it that way. It's not just custom build for Audi, last time I was there he was building a tubular spaceframe for a race car and there was a Corvette , Jaguar XKR, Mitsubishi GTO, EVO VIII, Caterham and Monaro there all having exhaust / manifold mods done. Cats, silencers and tip are sourced externally and he puts them toghether with 304 grade stainless steel and then tested. But if you want the reassurance of Milltek and their R&D then go for it, I'm not knocking their product. But I've had my system fitted, cat back and then full sports cats and touch wood whilst I write this I have had not one problem with it in the time I've had it. Plus it's local, has a warranty on parts and significantly cheaper than Milltek, let alone Milltek plust the cost of travelling to the nearest supplier / fitter. This is what put me off having a Milltek. Up on a ramp I don't think they look much different except mine isn't polished tubular work, but when it's under the car I wouldn't be too concerned.
