seventyseven
They're for Girls, aren't they? I'm refering to soft top, run of the mill cars here. Sister's will power won & the lovely couple now pilot bright red cooper cabrio. Her partner's starting to realise what a fairy he looks!!!! sayerbloke
Well, the mini convertible is rather girly, yes. Some soft tops are more unisex.

NewNiceMrMe
Yes, they're strictly for puffs. I like to wear lip gloss when I drive mine.
MOSE
I'm glad you confirmed that Chris as I didnt really want to ask you in person, but I thought it might be lip gloss. Think the nail varnish gave it away a bit as well!

Phantom
Yeah I reckon the A4 cab looks really girly, not. I think there are more metal folding roof cars that say girly than the cloth type, eg, Micra CC, Pug 206 CC, Merc SLK etc. Have to say I like the look of the new Volvo CC Gratuitous Cab shot coming up , so what do you drive then Quasi ? sayerbloke
[ QUOTE ] Some soft tops are more unisex.[ QUOTE ] Such as? [/ QUOTE ] [/ QUOTE ] Such as those listed above by others I'd also like to throw in the Dodge Viper. Soft-top but not even slightly girly Basically, where soft-top cars are concerned, I'd say the smaller the car, the more likely it is to be seen as "girly". It's by no means the only factor, but I think it's probably one of the more important ones.
Daz
I will admit that this is a girly cabriolet though
NewNiceMrMe
Agreed, although I don't think I've ever seen a bloke driving one of these either. Very feminine (IMO)...
Ari
Girly, eh?
Ari
I do have to say though, back to the original post, yes the MINI Cabrio is most definitely a girls car. And with the hood down and the chrome roll bars looking like a pram handle, it looks like a pram!
patently
The presence or absence of a roof is irrelevant. We've proved by example that small cars, cute cars, and pink cars are girly. Wow - hold the front page! Further gratuitous shot coming:
sayerbloke
[ QUOTE ] I will admit that this is a girly cabriolet though [/ QUOTE ] There's one exactly like that [even in that colour] on a stand at the Nissan garage on the corner on the estate I work on. It's right in your eyeline as you round the corner... bit of a hazard really!
Phantom
I pass one of those Pink Nissan CCs every morning on the way to work, I have tried to take a pic but my camera phone refuses to focus in on the brightly coloured paintwork
NewNiceMrMe
We need hood up shots as well! Nothing like picturing whoring...

Daz
Sorry don't have any. The roof's been down 90% of the time since I picked up the car, the only times it's been up are when it's been raining. So here's a couple of action shots instead
