Im guessing that is Army? Thats about the only type of game I really don't like. A bit too tactical for me. I loved Doom and Quake, however id really like to game a game which isn't on the 360. Something unique to the PC with some obscene graphics. I love blood and gore, but some of this Sim or build a community type game sounds quite interesting. I really have no idea. If you can suggest any names, I can look up reviews on the Internet. 169144-ok.gif

Nothing to do with blood or gore, (unless you really are a terrible driver) but I've recently purchased GTR2, the most realistic racing simulation I've ever played.

Steep learning curve, but if you like a challenge and are fed up of things like Gran Turismo where you can waltz through the field of cars without much skill, then this is it!

Plus you can do online multiplayer races with upto about 30 cars I think. ECLIPSe.gif

How up to date are you? Half Life 2?

I got about as far as HL2, then I found mods, which have kept me going.

First I got the official addons, Lost Coast and Episode 1, then I've been playing some single-player mods like Mistake of Pythagoras, Combine Destiny, Minerva and Day Hard. I've really been hooked on The Hidden recetly though, a really fantastic multiplayer online game. I should try Dystopia too, but always end up playing Hidden instead.

I'm considering Garry's Mod now it's in v10 or something, but it has gone all commercial; only $9.99 though, so probably worth a punt for some laughs.

Its great fun... the fights are really good fun, although sometimes you find yourself dying because you are too busy trying to create a spectacular kill rather than just laying into the enemy.

Oh, and when you get your bow, if you hover the drawn arrow through a flame you get fire arrows... thats always good for a laugh smile.gif

okay...

Basically you are an orphan who is raised by a wizard chappy and you end up doing missions for him, the story develops from there. You get a demon guardian - you'll like that when you see some of the cut-scenes (you'll know when you see it) wink.gif

Action-wise, there are spiky railings all over to kick enemys onto, then you have the old cut the rope drop a log traps. Say you have a gantry with barrels on it you can kick an enemy into it and have it collapse on them.

You can pick up an oil jar and throw it at an enemy or the wall or floor near where they are, then ignite it either with a flame arrow or fire spell...

Its very tempting to rush through, but save at start of each chapter as there are some encounters you will want to try in various ways.

oh, and when you fight your adrenaline goes up, once you get full adrenaline you can do a one-shot kill special move, that depends how your character is moving as you pull it off smile.gif
