flux
[ QUOTE ] Also my saloon came out at £42000 what do you think i should be aiming to pay for it ? [/ QUOTE ] £4300 off a 335i saloon M-Sport at http://www.coast2coastcars.co.uk/ , so guess you take that off as a starting point. If you're ordering a few options, no reason why you shouldn't get more than that.

flux
For me, xenons are a must. Will also probably do the through-load option as well, can't remember what it's called or how much, but not essential really. No CD/ ipod etc options? TBH, I'm not sure if a dealer will match - some might, if they want the extra turnover (but at much reduced margin), you may have to ring round a few. Let us know how you get on. gizze
Be careful Scott, there was a 335i coupe up for £31k on autotrader, some £5-9k cheaper than the rest, turns out it had no nav, may still even be there. You will get your money back on it.

flux
[ QUOTE ] You will get your money back on it. [/ QUOTE ] Are CAP / Glass's now quoting seperate prices for nav cars / non-nav cars? My only "yeah, but..." against this is that 3 yrs down the line surely the OEM sat-nav will be so out of date that is it really desirable to a 2nd-hand buyer in 2010? pile
i think it would be easier to sell on with Nav but i dont think i would recoup the £2000 for it anyway. The frustrating thing is that my mothers TomTom was better than the BMW Nav in the 5 series. If i could buy HUD on the 3 then i would go for the NAV . gizze
I have just made an offer on a 335d m-sport touring and on a 335i M-Sport touring that they have in stock, will wait and see what they say.

gizze
No. I did like the panoramic roof, but wouldn't be as bothered in the 3 series, the 3 sport touring doesn't feel as dark as the 5 sport touring, not sure why but we both commented on this when we had one as a loaner. Plus the lack of creaks and rattles is a bonus, the one on the 535d started to get an annoying vibration.

If you're likely to be moving it on in 12 - 18 months then I'd go for it. If not, and you're looking at keeping it for 3 or 4 years, just take a look at how dated the NAV system looks in an E39 or E46, and then make up your mind Peter
gizze
I still prefer the DVD Nav in the E46 to my TomTom or my Garmin Nuvi. May look look as fancy graphics wise, but the routes are better, and the TMC is spot on. I hate having shite all over my dash though as well, don't like it at all, prefer an OEM system so I don't have to keep getting stuff in and out of teh glove box all the time. I guess if you only use the nav occasionally this doesn't matter as much. On a 320d I would consider not adding it, even on a 325d, but on a 335d/i I think it has to be added, if you can get this for what £33k, then how much for one with no nav? 2006 56 Reg BMW 335i 2979 cc Sport Saloon Price: £33,850 Features: 4,166 miles Automatic Titanium Silver Full Description: 4 Doors, Automatic, Saloon, Petrol, 4,166 miles, Titanium Silver, Black Dakota leather, Automatic Gearbox, Bluetooth phone prep + telematics, BMW Assist, Floor Mats, Navigation-system Professional, Rear-seat headrests folding, SA3 Pricing Rule for 620 Voice Control, Sliding Front Armrest, Voice Control System, Xenon Headlamps. £33,
