Quattrophenia Posted March 20, 2007 Report Share Posted March 20, 2007 Typically I think you will get 6 points + court hearing if your average speed is 25mph above limit (what I was told by the copper when I got clocked at 94.5mph on the 70mph M621 motorway (got 3 points). He said any faster and I would have been looking at 6points + court. Insurance companies ask for convictions and claims for the past 5 years. Points are valid for 3 years on your license but is mandatory that they stay on for 4 years (you then have to ask for them to be removed. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

If before (and we are having a sweep) then I would go for 6 points max and no court appearance. Better get one of those 'don't blame me I'm on nine points' stickers in early then.
