Come to think of it the car does spend most of it's life on his driveway Whatever noise it is he does not like it and tried to boot it to get it to stop, I do question his logic sometimes. With summer rushing in and holidays due to be booked you do need to start firming this up (well before end of April / May absolute latest). It would be easy to tie this in with the TSN National meet which I think Ms Lottie Fox is sorting. Separation and a specific meeting for R32's is a great idea. I do think you could struggle with the time factors and unless you are very close to publishing a road map of venue, date, hotacc / camping you may end up with low attending levels. Why hasn't anyone polled the TSN R32 owners for a head count on who would attend?? Surely as a start point the suggested attending numbers from TSN should be considered BEFORE planning further elements. You also need to decide if the meeting will be exclusive to R32's or will E30's, GTi's and the odd S3 be allowed. I'd also suggest you don't link this thread away to other sites, Jim's handling of the newbie was less than ambassadorial and comes across as chav- Not the tone for a meeting of joy amongst like minded car owners. If you do get 20+ 'I'll definitely go' votes on a TSN poll, then getting a similar response from other R32 based forums should be easy- but time is of the essence and you need to sort this out very, very quickly. Has anyone thought of asking tuners / VW / Tyre marketing departments for some freebies. Has anyone thought of the base format for the meeting? Something like:- * Simple day meeting * Day meeting, group run and meal * Day meeting, group run, BBQ * Day meeting, team relay race, food * Overnight meeting with camping, wine, woman and song * Overnight meeting + events day such as Santa Pod I wish you well and hope you accept my considerations in the good spirit intended, including Jimmy stroppy b*llocks. You might find that it's already too late and that other forums have already got meeting planned and ready to go- another way would be to simply crash in to their meet, saving all sorts of hassle with venue, date and logistical issues. [/ QUOTE ] No whistle yet! that'll be later this month! I had a Fidanza flywheel fitted and I think I have finally eaten it! So I'm having the stock one put back in with a performance plate. Regarding the meet, I have finally spoken to Elliott and he is going to send on the details (he has given me 2 possible locations) One being very close to Silverstone (something Western....) and the other being Bluewater just off the M25 but I know that is a long way for most of you but it is a good place for photos.... When Elliott pulls his finger out and gets me the details I will let you all know. He is very interested though and he'd be prepared to do a feature on it!
