excellent

Anyone used 2007? How steep is the learning curve with the ribbon?

which version do you get?

[/ QUOTE ]

I've been using it since November (MSDN) and I find the ribbon is great, occasionally find myself scratching my head trying to find something and then realise its placed quite sensibly and I've been staring at it for 5 minutes.

Once you've found everything you need its a big improvement.

Did anyone apply for this? How long does it take?

Ordered it through work - a no brainer really.......don't really need it but it will come in handy (using OpenOffice at the moment).

Got an email from MS 11 days ago to say it was being despatched and nothing yet.

Hopefully its gonna be better than the Vista 'Express' upgrade

I am looking to get a new laptop which is likely to have Microsoft Vista OS - will this version of Office work on Vista, and if not, is there an equivalent offer for a Vista compatible package?

thanks

Sidicks

Any of the office suites work on Vista +++

Is there any real way in which MS can tell if you don't work for the NHS (or whoever has this offer) anymore? No? Probably not?

And will you genuinely go out and buy the £300 version if you move jobs? No! Thought not!

Great deal for the real thing. Dodgy copies are more expensive!
