Turns out there is a lot more they can’t do on the car: No white inlays – these are the same in LHD and RHD No white seat backs – again the same in LHD and RHD No white grill – can be painted granted but again the same in LHD and RHD No white seat backs – again same in LHD No limiter increase – not a big problem No point buying it! basically a white car with the black pack on! No one has given me a sensible reason for this yet and to be brutally honest I’m more than a little pissed off with the brand. Bring back Kevin Rose all is forgiven! What pissed me off even more was yesterday someone in CS asked why I just didn’t order from the factory in Germany or a dealer over there. The only explanation I have been given so far by Listers in Worcester is that Audi UK have reversed their decision to bring the car to the UK for Marketing reasons. Either way we all know they're not the last word in customer service (although far from the worst in this respect). You've had plenty of Audis in the past and I doubt if you've encountered problems such as this every time; why let one bad experience put you off the brand altogether? IMHO spending a huge amount of money on something different - something you don't really want - just to prove a point strikes me as a little odd. The ones round here won't even sell me a car after they lost the legal battle when they blew the engine on my b7 rs4. I'm not buying another brand to prove a point, I wanted that car, but now I need a car otherwise i'll be using the r8 everyday. and i just don't do normal cars. Someone rang me this morning inviting me +1 to the GP this weekend with full hospitality. 2. Someone else has just rung to confirm that the car is now being built. and that it will be the only white (or black) style packet car in the UK. Price is now slightly lower too! To be fair though it was more a case of letting the right person find out about the problem. Mr Hicks does seem like a bloke who fixes problems if he hears about them.
