posted up a thread in the "Opinion" section kindly asking for a moderator of this R32 forum to contact me.

That thread was just deleted..

This was to warn you of the problem, hassles, and major issues with the EIP kits (which I now see he's trying to flood into the UK)

You can check vortex.com coz a LOT of stuff is going to get told (posted) today.

So b0llocks to ya, I tried to warn ya

(yeah this post will prob vanish too)

Not sure where your post is going, tbh TTigg.

If you've got something to share with us, can you say it how it is, rather than posting something which is all but cryptic.

If you're talking about EIP Tuning, I've run several of their after-market mods for a while now, without any problems. The only issue I had was with the amount of time taken to ship to the UK, but, as long as you can live with a 6 weeks lead time, it's not a problem for what you get for your money.

Granted the bolt on stuff is very good. It's the Turbo kits that are a HUGE problem.

There has been lots uncovered over the last month or so with so many of them being sold or removed.

Blown engines, melted pistons, bad SW etc etc - the list is almost endless. My biggest concern for you guys is that I see a couple of kits making their way out there and I wanted to warn you as it's not wise to use them at all.

There is a guy in Cornwall as we speak who's posted up on the Vortex asking for a install DVD online as his kit was shipped in partial without the details.

You guys & gals can take with a pinch of salt or actually take a look see for yourselves but you'd be very wise not to go with their Turbo kit if you value your engine & car.

AFAIK, no Tyresmoke users have gone down the turbo'd route, with the exception of Jon from VagTech, who occassionally posts on here, although his conversions are based on the HPA turbo kit, which originates from HGP in Germany.

The majority of forced induction conversions have been supercharged, using the www.vfengineering.com kit.

Without wanting to sound like someone with a pipe and slippers (watch it Jimmy and Dan!), I raised the issue of heat transfer at the time when the kits were first being offered in the UK.

It's all well and good just bolting on a turbo kit and hoping for the best, but, there's a shed load more to think about than just making the car go faster, like cooling, compression ratios etc.

....Exactly! Even changing a turbo on a car which had one to start with involves a great deal of knowledge and consideration of the consequences to the whole engine, not to mention the ECU.

TTigg - Without experience of EIP most of us can't comment and anyway, one person's good or bad experience may not be another's.

As is the considered policy of most forums, and usually for good reason, that Vortex thread you posted a link to has been locked by the site Moderators.

Yep locked by the request of the poster so it stays there (with no replies). This way people can search and read for themselves.

I understand one person's bad experience can be just that, and others can go ok. I just wanted you guys to be "aware" coz just about ALL of the experiences have been bad and too many motors have been blown and cars sold.

Peace..

This is old news but now to the real reasons we are here, to unveil some truths.

Seriously I am very sorry to all, I have known about a few of these for a while and others I have just learned about so again I will assist anyone who wishes to take action.

jettin123 (Chris) Your turbo kit is a used kit that was taken off of Kyle Izzets car (and I am sure you paid full price).

Jeremy (rabbitgtibbar) who is no longer on this site, without his knowledge EIP blew his motor during testing and replaced his pistons with pistons lying around the shop.

Big lu: EIP blew your engine twice and just pieced it together for you to take and then blamed it on you when it blew a 3rd time.

Scharged: Your kit was put together with used parts, actually I am pretty sure they were my used Stg one parts when I went ball bearing and COMP FMIC if not than this was Les' car.

If any of you know Randy Sargent. Well his engine was blown and EIP used a used higher mileage engine to fix it without telling him.

Cesar (MyblueR32Turbo): His motor blew less than 5 days after getting the stage 1 and EIP and I talked him into Stg 2 so nobody would know (many did and I apologized a million times for this). But hey his car is not bad except he gets 120miles to the tank and burns a quart of oil an week. It will be fixed this weekend as Chris and I are removing it.

Rob Faur (Green R32) His car is running 20lbs of boost and Rich wont fix it. So once it blows Rich will make money rebuilding it.

AZsightsound (Brandon): Your car really never made over 450 wheel HP (after the initial run which you have the dyno sheet from) and I just found this out today. So the initial Dyno was 100% accurate but I was told that those numbers were never repeated and if you dyno'd it today that it would 100% not hit 450 whp

Every single R32 turbo has been back to RIP, sorry EIP for some issue or another (mine ended up with an oil leak and that "3 Year Warranty" is a joke and never honored. Smoke and mirrors my friend.

“My friend” received Cat cams and EIP said they were Schrick, and they still say it.

12V Turbo: You car caught on fire on the dyno just prior to the pick up. EIP cleaned it up and delivered it as ready to go.

Everyone and their mother knows: The race file was actually Nos and if you paid for that file demand your money back, oh and Rich's run at the track was of course NOS assisted.

Jessla: Your clutch was faulty and EIP made you pay for labor even though it wasn't anything he did.

At the first R32 GTG, r32mxspd (Aaron) your car broke down do to them messing up your ECU and you now have a different in your car.

Oh and the first (test) Stg 2 before mine EIP blew the engine twice and the guy sold it on ebay.

Don't get me wrong EIP did a lot of very nice things for me and I am grateful for that but the bad definitely out weighs the good in this case.
