Avus_Bub
[ QUOTE ] Tuning the center differential provides one of the most significant performance gains available to the Quattro owner. The standard torsen center differential in the S4 and A4 provides a 2:1 torque distribution capability. This enables the end of the car with traction (generally the rear) to deliver twice the torque being delivered by the least tractive end of the vehicle (generally the front). For high performance street cars, we recommend a bias ratio of 4:1. This is the same bias ratio that Audi has provided in the stock RS4 driveline. [/ QUOTE ] I've read about a couple of blow ups on highly tuned 1.8T cars. But those yanks are crazy!! It looks like it could offer some good bang for the buck You can be guinea pig......... Mook
Because of the centre diff And we're talking 4.2 V8 here No problem being a guinea pig, Bub - I served as the pig for most mods on the Mk4 R32 for TsN

Avus_Bub
Sorry Mook I meant the torsen diff going pop! I have to admit TDi I was thinking the same thing...... BUB
Scotty
What electronics would notice let alone be bothered? A Torsen drive train is mechanical so there's no electrics to confuse such as in a Haldex system. I looked into this about a year ago and was surprised how low the price was. The cost of fitting etc would of course be on top. I decided not to in the end and to keep the money for the next car.
