Horrid.  Unlike the (Hibiscus?) B5 Avant with black window trims and roof rails behind.   +++

I won't have time to get back, but my son suggested the front end looked like one of the 'modified' cars from Tokyo Mater.

Yes, but think how much extra down force it adds.............................. About 40 pounds, how much does it weigh I wonder?.....................................About 40 pounds.

Well, if it does generate any form of downforce whatsoever, it'll come in very handy for keeping the boot lid shut tighter.

The downforce generated will help.  Afterall, the owners' wallet is now probably about £4000 lighter.

Far nicer than the bastardised D4 blocking its view   +++

See now, I struggle with these S4's, I quite like them, but also hate them at the same time.

They are good cars, quick, handle fairly well for an understeery barge, pretty nice interior for the time, but just look at it, if ever a more boring generic 'car' has ever been designed, I don't think i've seen it.

If you described a car to someone who'd never seen one before and asked them to draw it, this is what you'd get, no detail, no style, no flourishes, just nothing.

B7 (?) S4 Cabs look and sound nice though.

Sound nice yes, personally I find them just as dull to look at as the estate.

I think the B6 cab has a nice understated yet classy appeal to it. At the time I always thought it would age well. It may yet do, but while earlier classics seem to be all the rage it does look a bit, er, dull.

Very similar. B7 was the facelift with the updated headlights. I thought the B6 had a cleaner look to it.

I think I meant the B6.  Not sure.

That's what I guessed, although to be fair, I'm not sure there's much difference!

Which reminds me, I was tailgated by a pretend Auditwat in a Seat Exeo today.

Briefly.

There isn't, the B6 and B7 are nigh on identical as G mentions, purely a mid life facelift.  Although to be fair, the B5 before it looks nigh on identical too....

(especially if you swap the B5 onto the same six spoke Avus design wheels)

I think the camera on the 2nd phone has much better low light capability.

Just shows how much difference a good camera can make when you show the photos next to each other. I would guess the new Samsung Galaxy S7?
