Ari
I decided today, as I dried myself out, that I've coined a new medical condition, NCS, New Car Syndrome. Symtoms that I'm displaying include parking the car at the very far end of a supermarket car park when shopping despite the fact that it is raining to lessen the chances of someone parking next to it and banging their door on it, and washing it in the pouring rain... Not sure how long this condition will last, but every time I look at her I realise I've got it bad...
Dave
LOL... you can't possibly be as obsessive as me mate... that's just the beginning.. I'm into planning routes to avoid school traffic, plan car parking hours in advance.. think up reasons not to leave the car at the airport..[ to wife : why don't we hire a car to avoid car park charges?..], even consider walking into town
fatcat
Long term sufferer here mate, everyday I pick the bay at the end, just to give my neighbours car enough room so that they can swing the door fully open without denting my car. I work on construction sites, so neat considerate parking is not top of the typical hairy arsed builder agenda. Is there a helpline.

Hants_Cruiser_UK
Think I have NCS all the time - always park way away from everyone else, but every now and then you get a smart arse who parks right up close as if to prove a point
Ari
Now that really fecks me off! Hapened a week ago, a big car park with five cars in it. I parked away from everybody and when I came back someone had parked right tight up against it. WHY!!??? I think it is the same pleb herding instinct that ensures that if you are on a virtually empty beach someone will come and sit right by you despite the fact that they've got the whole beach to choose a spot from...!! Ari
Hmmm.... Discovered another symptom. Just been out to get something out of the car, and noticed that the roof has dried. I've got a desperate urge to drop the roof and drive it again...!! Err, seeya later!
Carlo
He He.. I thought parking miles away from everyone else in the car park was just me... That really wicks me off... My old car got screwed by someone in a red car, reason why I knew it was red was because they seemed to slam the door into my car and then jump up and down while getting in which left a 3" red scrape that was right down to the metal... had to get it re-sprayed If I really have to park next to other cars i'll pick a gud un... another Audi or something that looks well looked after. Saw a really bad thing the other day in my local supermarket... was just sitting in my car getting ready to drive off when a women in horsey gear, slammed her trolley into the trolley park, it bounced back, rolled out and down the incline of the car park, passed the women getting back into her Range Rover streight into the back of a BMW, sideswipped a Corsa then stopped in the middle of the road... the women then mounts the kerb in her Range rover to get past the trolley in the middle of the road!!! Unbelievable... So add another one to your list don't leave your car downhill or in direct firing line of a trolley park.
peterb
I, too, suffer from this parking disorder. Always pick an end space, and as far from the bay-marking line as possible, but not in an area which is otherwise deserted - to reduce the risk of vandalism, or some youths using the car as a goalmouth for their game of footy. However, as for washing it - isn't that something the dealer takes care of when the car goes in for service every 24 months?
Mo-S3
I had a similar problem whilst at Sainsbury's, Some daft BAT had done with her trolley and just pushed it into a small area which wasnt even a trolley park, the thing bounced of the sign post and was headed for my car, fortunatley i caught it and shoved it back at her with a fair bit of force. Hee hee you should have seen the look on her face when i shoved it right at her followed by a harsh comment!! Daft cow then thought it would be better to return the trolley to its correct park. Dont these people know that its impossible to control a supermarket trolley whilst indoors so what chance has it got when its free wheeling after a shove !! < biyaatch !! Woppum
My friend with his cooper s spends about 2 hours washing his bloody car. It takes so long becasue after he washes it if there are any soapy stains left he will rewah, rewash and then rewash. when he has finally decided he has done enough (usually the next day), he will then wax it which takes too [censored] long. While he is doing this i am left just to watch and twidle my thumbs, waiting impatiently untill we can go some place. Does any of you know if it leagal to shoot someone with this rare condition of NC [censored] S! Lol, Woppum xxx
