drpellypo
I'm not hitting 50 in the new Passat very often. Bit rubbish really. And considering the tiny amount of miles I do, there's not much point having a soot chucker.

badgera
Tried my hardest yesterday, Sheffield to MK, taking it easy, but still having to deal with an M1 closure - 47mpg, not bad from a 2.7 auto A6

twigs972
Average about 58mpg every week on my BMW 320d which is pretty good doing 400 miles each week.
Sponge
Liverpool to Lockerbie, fully loaded car (weeks holiday) at mostly 60mph resulted in ~51 mpg. I haven't worked out the return journey yet (to confirm above figure). PS I always have the a/c on auto. One of these days I'll get some figures with it off. Sponge
Just calculated it was 54mpg on the trip home. Not bad considering the car was fully laden. But sticking to 60mph is soooooooo tedious!
drpellypo
Hmmmmmmm.. I switched the DSG off following a thread on TSN. I now appear to be well and truly back into the 50mpg fold.

Nelson_R32
[ QUOTE ] looks like I can easily join the fun here [/ QUOTE ] Isn't that DIS1 though? DIS2 is the actual combined fuel figure But if everyones going off DIS1, I've had about 62mpg off mine so far
edo
Dis 1 resets every journey (as long as stopped for more than 30 mins I think) Di2 doesnt reset unless you reset it. I think most people are not averaging the figures they say on here from day one but for a journey on Dis1. But not for 50 yards or rest once moving etc!
