Andrew
Amazed there are not more threads about this - have I missed them? Seems like I've spent most of September and Oct so far going up and down the A1 to Paris. Great atmosphere on Saturday in Paris and I'm off there again this Friday. Bring it on! Andrew
Blimey, not one thought on Saturday! Anybody else off to Paris? Not got tickets yet but just being in Paris will be good enough. They have a massive screen by the Eiffel Tower and last Saturday it looked like it was going off there. Andrew
A friend. Welcome! He did loads for Harlequins but hasn't done much in an England shirt has he. Any changes to the team makes me nervous. As does the weather, pitch condition, crowd attitude, kit detergent etc etc!!

RobK
[ QUOTE ] we've got to sneak out of a wedding reception to watch it as the bride+groom are not showing the game [/ QUOTE ] Our wedding last year was at exactly the same time as the kick-off for England's opening world cup game. During the service you could hear the cheering from the pub down the road when England scored!

Luke
we're hanging in there, silly penalty by Moody, what was he thinking? Their lineout is superb ours ok. We need to get in their half more. Only 6 in it.
khutula
We can win this but we keep giving away silly school boy error penalties. We can't kick for touch as their line out is superb. Like you say we just need to get in their half - COME ON ENGLAND !!

Luke
That decision wasnt right but I think SA had enough anyway. Whan Paul Rob' went off our spark for scoring a try had gone. Tense game but not pretty. What happened to scoring tries with backs?
Scotty
I think SA deserved the win. The "try" was as close as it gets but it looks like it just wasn't close enough. A valiant effort and being Champions followed by Runner Up's ain't too bad.
Luke
Just seen the replay again without my England glasses on. He was in touch, so fair play for the decision. SA deserve the world cup, they've been the best side. We did well to get there but didnt have enough in the end.
