PsYcHe
Knew it would happen to me, so I bought the 8 as my main car anyway Stops her moaning about me having 2 motors and I get a comfy car that will eat most stuff on the road

fudge
This is my toy; 4933cc and 326 bhp with a very similar performance to my last S8 and my current A8 D3. 16 years old but just about concours. I have had the Merc for 6 years now but have no plans to change. There is no doubt that Mercs of this vintage were built to last (unlike more recent models). So far I have not had to spend anything on her except for routine servicing.

nikw
[ QUOTE ] Why the A8 not suited to le mans to, loads a power and comfort and a big boot for beer !! [/ QUOTE ] Well, yes the '8 is pretty good too, especially when it's (very) wet like this year! I towed a stuck FWD camper van on to firm ground only to realise afterwards that the owner hadn't even bothered to help by using his engine! That Cortina is amazing by the way, Duffy3074

Oli18
Wow, I just love that Mk1 golf....looks amazing mate! And that VW campervan....one of my dream other cars for sure. I bought a 3rd vehicle back in May.... here she is.....TAAAA DAAAA She cost me £150 as it was a non-runner and had been sat on one of my neighbour's driveway for almost 4 years...he had an accident that stopped him from riding a few years back. A new battery, front tyre and oil change, and i had her running again. I now use her to drive into work every day - avoiding the tube and a sheer joy to drive and here is a pic of her detailed and fixed...
