pontyslapper
If you are using CCTV - there is the small matter of being DPA registered... Data Protection Act for those who don't know! Its a pain in the arse but worth it so you know that you are doing it right.
962C
[ QUOTE ] [ QUOTE ] Chri5 : you got some issues man [/ QUOTE ] Only with chavs, bullies and alpha males who aren't [/ QUOTE ] i think that was a little tongue in cheek from chris. or at least i bloody hope so! reference the expanding filler foam, my dad recently used some to fill in an old kitchen airbrick vent after fitting a new boiler into a recently acquired house. he didn't realise it bonded to your skin, and tried using everything to get the stuff off - white spirit, nail varnish remover..... haha
pingpongpo
[ QUOTE ] Chri5 : you got some issues man [/ QUOTE ] The only issues Chri5 has got is that he didn't kill the little feckers afterwards.
Sponge
[ QUOTE ] ...tried using everything to get the stuff off - white spirit, nail varnish remover..... haha [/ QUOTE ] Did he try expanding foam remover? It's usually on the shelf next to the expanding foam. Works a treat.

Tonsko
Could you and a couple of friends not bundle one of them into a rental van (all wearing balaclavas) drive round a bit, threaten him, scare him (not actually use violence) and then dump him about 5 miles from the estate? Teacake
[ QUOTE ] Could you and a couple of friends not bundle one of them into a rental van (all wearing balaclavas) drive round a bit, threaten him, scare him (not actually use violence) and then dump him about 5 miles from the estate? [/ QUOTE ] Sure. Just one question: is the possible prison sentence for kidnapping a minor higher or lower than what you might get if you just lamp him one? Tonsko
But that's sort of the point isn't it? He won't know who did it. you wouldn't catch me doing that, any more than you'd find me going outside to 'sort them out' or whatever. It strikes me that this is a more subtle way to do it, and one that less likely to lead to your door.

Hudster
When I lived in Nottingham I saw 3 kids breaking into the house opposite in the middle of the afternoon. I filmed them breaking the lock and climbing in a window and then ran downstairs to chase them off. Caught one of them too although my housemate had called PC plod and they arrived just as I'd grabbed him. You should have seen the grin on plod's face when I told them I'd got a video of the whole event. They were perfectly happy to take it as evidence and bought me an extra 1gb memory card as a thank you. Could post the video up here but not sure of the legal implications... they don't know I took a copy before I gave it to them Riz - none of us ever saw these kids again after that day

Hudster
Within the Lenton triangle. Two of them ran off towards that estate just over Derby road - I would not go in there at night without a very big stick
962C
I'm on Derby Road near the railway. Lenton holds some happy memories, but indeed not the safest area.
