RedRobin
...Instead of a text, why not phone her. Gulp!! Only you can decide how you want to 'play' it but going with your current circumstances, why not phone her and arrange to see her just because you enjoy seeing her. Either borrow a car or tell her the truth about your car and the mileage factor. When's your new R32 coming? If she says "Are you asking me out?" then ask her if she'd like you to be asking her out. But take care not to make anything sound as if you are asking her to marry you! Gently does it, be cool but clearly interested and take every opportunity to flirt because it can gently open things up if they are there.
RedRobin
[ QUOTE ] I'm in a similar situation. I'm friends with a bloke who really is special to me, but i darent/wont tell him how i feel. He knows i fancy him, but he thinks its just a joke between us. I dont think he feels the same way, but saying that there is an undercurrent that makes me feel he doesnt see me as just an aqaintance(if that makes sense). Telling him how i feel is not an option, nor is inviting him for a random night out. I should point out that he is a lot younger than me in years, but not in mind. I really couldnt just say it. Sorry to hijack the thread ETA.. he is single, he told me when he split from his most recent [/ QUOTE ] ....Steff, age is just a number and plenty of blokes are really hot for a more experienced lady. Sometimes a lady has to make the first move - I'm glad to say it's happened to me a lot of times! Just engineer yourself into hanging out more together - Women are usually good at subtle manoeuvres! bpsmith
My mate just put himself as in a relationship on FaceBook. I tackled him, when watching the Swans Win yet another game on Friday night, and he said that he has not met anyone but just did it for a laugh. He has now had 3 offers in the 36 hours that have passed since! He was actually trying to attract a certain female and now she is seriously on his case to go out! I am not saying she has done this for sure fella, but its worth investigating whether this guy exists and, if so, how serious it is? Can only be done in person, or via a telephone call as suggested above mind you! Hope it works out for you!
RedRobin
....Slightly off topic, but going out with a female friend can sometimes attract other females. They tend to think "Hmm....She's onto something, I want some of that for me!" No-one wants a lonely saddo.

RedRobin
....What do women fear most about the possibility of losing their loved one? - Not whether they can trust their man or not, but the knowledge of the power of another woman to entice a man whether he's in a relationship or not. They have that power and some know how to use it. [We'll get back on topic when Nelson posts some news]
quattroman777
A guy I know wears a wedding ring when he goes out (he's not married) as he believes women all want a piece of someone else's pie.

Calm Chris
Carpe diem is a phrase from a Latin poem by Horace. It is popularly translated as "seize the day", although a more literal translation of carpe would be "harvest" ("harvest the day"), as in the harvesting of fruit. Carpe momentum means "seize the moment"
