scooby_simon Posted November 13, 2008 Author Report Share Posted November 13, 2008 Mine should be 20meg; Just had a "senior customer service manager" on the phone (He called me after a long running DL speed problem) who was not pleased when I quoted the above.... Then went to NTL game zone and did a download that was also feckin slow.... He had a think for about 30 seconds and then said he needed to wait 24 hours for my new modem (New Model, no 256?) reports to come on-line... He said he'd call me back. Do I believe him; Nope...... I assume they did the usual 'check multiple downloads from known good servers' checks? (Or is that what NTL Gamezone is?) I'm on 20meg too. I've had times when downloading 3 or 4 files, all at around 1.2Mbytes/sec, and at other times it drops to 0.2Mbytes/sec. Yesterday is was 631k The thing I hate is the havign to spend 3 days convincing someone there is a problem and then they close the call and you have to start again.
