Some fantastic 'Ferraris'.

I have actually seen one very, very good MR2 - 355 conversion.

So good in fact that it was nigh on impossible to tell the difference until you got very close indeed.

However, I'll also not forget how one guy stood and couldn't wait to tell the owner that because he'd spent the best part of £35k on the donor car and all the mods that he'd have been able to buy the real thing with a good few miles on it.:roflmao:

The guy did have a comeback of course - that he wouldn't have to hire his wife out on a weekend to pay for servicing.

What ever happened to MR2-355 reps? I heard a couple of different stories.

1st Ferrari were going to sue the company unless they stopped what they were doing.

2nd Ferrari bought the company and destroyed the moulds.

Anyone knowthe truth.

I think the truth is slightly underwhelming, and not very surprising really.

No one wanted MR2's that look a bit like a Ferrari, so the companies either went out of business or diversified into other areas.

The most accurate kit I seem to remember came from a company called 'Ish car' I think, no idea what they do now if anything.
