Cuprabob
Thankfully he was OK but it looked like a sore one. He was in the lead and just about to lap James Ellison when this happened... Lorenzo crash Valencia 2012 - YouTube
Scotty
I was watching it live and "rewound" about 10 times. He was fecking lucky not to break his neck or least a collar bone. So gutted for Cal though.
Cuprabob
Felt really bad for Cal. Amazing ride from Pedrosa, winning from starting in the pitlane. Going by the Moto2 race Marquez is going to be good value next year. Looking forward to Tuesday to when Rossi gets back on the Yamaha.
Scotty
Rossi - I predicted the end of his reign before he left Yamaha. I don't think he can compete at the highest level now .... but I'd love to be proved wrong and see him mix it up with Lorenzo again.
DanG
And what about Nakasuga, third GP race, following a 9th and a 6th, he gets a podium. Ben Spies wants to be worried...!
Cuprabob
Spies would be worried if he wasn't moving on. Don't know what's been wrong with him this year. Yes is wad a great ride for the test rider.

Luke
JL first real balls up of the season. He was very lucky but also missed out on record number of podiums/wins in a season. Probably why he looked so p1ssed off. I think Rossi/Ducati made the mistake of staying out one lap too long to get on the podium and thought what's the point of risking a big crash so just slowed up. Not like he was going to win anyway. Cal was lucky not to trap his fingers in the chain or wheel, that could have been very nasty. Lorenzo's high side even made my Mrs wake up ( and she thinks motorbikes are seriously boring!).
Mort
Looking forward to seeing Rossi on the Yamaha after the race... He was 1.6 secs behind Lorenzo in qualifying... be interesting to see how much of that he can improve on the first ride of the bike. I see also that new rules have been announced. A Spec ECU with a 24 litre fuel allowance or allow the factories to use their own ECU and 20 litres (down from 21 litres this year). There's also a restriction of just 5 engines for the factory bikes for the whole season. (Apparently the factories volunteered this rule). There's also rules about provision of more bikes and engines to other teams.... I dont think this is the radical overhaul the class needs. The Factories will still be a mile ahead of the rest and the CRT class will still be a joke.
