Well the bike was due to arrive last week but didn't show up :(

Good news is that it has been showing as being "build complete" for a few weeks now so hopefully it will show up before the weather breaks.

I shall get some pictures up as soon as I have her in my clutches

I posted about the HP4 Carbon a while back. Incredible machine.

Few bikes turn my heads these days, but this is something altogether different. The figures and design are blinding.

Have you gone for blue, white or black? I adore the blue. I also love the fact there are only 3 options. Must be a first for a BMW!

Yum.

I much prefer the blue too - it's really bright in the flesh and pops out at you. I think the guy that has wrapped his with the black has made it look a bit dull!

First job will be getting it data tagged once I get home and then shouting for a while at the sticker kit because they won't go on straight!

Built ... but maybe missing the nice carbon add ons. That was the reason BMW were giving a few months back.

They tell me it is showing as completed and ready to ship. The other guy that had one from the same dealer but ordered before me had his a few days after it showed as that status. When is the rain due?

:( That's probably about right. I reckon I must be at the stage to start asking for some free stuff now but can't really think what I can try and blag off them - the first service for free was part of the deal we did so maybe I should ask for the second one too.

 What is it with these people and those huge panniers? Fair enough if you are travelling around Europe but surely they are nothing but a nuisance on a normal ride/commute?

FFS take them off and just attach them when you actually need them. It's akin to driving your car with two empty suitcases in the boot all of the time - idiots, the lot of 'em!!

  • 2 weeks later...

So, two days after the "Big Ouch" http://www.tyresmoke.net/forum/kneesliders/140311-big-ouch.html

and look what has finally arrived. Ventureshield and some other goodies getting fitted early next week for me to collect on Thursday :grin::grin::grin::grin::grin::grin::grin::grin:

They kindly took a load of pictures of it coming out of the crate when it first arrived too.
