patently
Saw this in tesco's a few weeks ago. How sad. In the original story, Dr Jekyll is the mild-mannered sensible one. Surely they'd rather imply that they're Mr Hyde, the unpredictable, exciting one?

drpellypo
The picture doesn't even do it justice. It's horribly made up. Letters all wonky and badly spaced. That's what annoyed me more than anything else! Ha.

Surely they'd rather imply that they're Mr Hyde, the unpredictable, exciting one? How much more mild-mannered and sensible can you get than an Audi A4? Ok, maybe not that A4. Any self respecting Mr Hyde would drive something impractical and frightening that spits fire at you.

bazza_g
There were lots of words that were created with the 11 plates from memory I remember one of the guys on the GTR forum had "BO 11 OXX" or similar on his GTR - the DVLA issued it, then revoked it, he took them to court and won it back! M8CKN
A few years ago there was a programme on where a guy made a big deal of the fact he had “got away with” a rude numberplate. When he revealed the car, the plate was BL03 JOB. I remember thinking that I don't know what a blob job is, and I don't want to know! I think it was on a Lambo IIRC

patently
Great plate but surely not great for aero?! No, it's not. Which is why it's there, oddly enough. The ethos of the club is to encourage and allow road-legal cars to take part in the class I'm running in. Those cars will have a numberplate, so to avoid putting them at a disadvantage, the race regulations require all the cars to have a standard-sized plate in that position. It doesn't need to be a numberplate as such (although they're probably the lightest & cheapest way of doing it), and it doesn't need to have the car's correct number on it, but it needs to be there. There are other classes of Caterham racing where the car is modified so far beyond anything that might be described as road-legal (usually due to absence of lights etc) that they don't require the plate to be there. You never see a car with a plate in those classes.

Tipex
I've seen possibly the best plate ever today, OF 02 PUB. Game over, he's won, shame it was a Mitsubishi Warrior Barbarian Ninja Death Kill Mother F*cker.
