Instead of going this year, I'm taking my son to a football tournament on Saturday and both sons to their Karate gradings on Sunday.

Anyone else going. I suppose Bazza is lording it up again.

All the facts you need about the Silverstone GP, courtesy of Sniff:

Bad news for motorists trying to leave the circuit after the race as at least one lane of the A43 is expected to be closed while they clear away the rest of Pastor Maldonado’s car.

I'm really looking forward to it.  Especially given that a few showers are expected during qualifying and the race which might help make things exciting - for both those watching at home and those hoping the get out of Northamptonshire before midnight!

My mom and dad are going this year but I'm out for lunch so will be switching the radio off in the car on the way home and retiring directly to the lounge to watch it before I hear what happened!

Should be a cracking race with so many cars out of their natural positions.

During the press conference I think Nico was really trying not to laugh. Although I felt for LH he really does need to take a page out of Alonso' s book when dealing with the media. Alonso didn't make it out of Q3 but was still upbeat and said "I'm going to have sone fun and overtake some cars":-)
