Busby
I think even at 9:00 the nets would be twitching .... and not coz someone is moving them! It's fantastically insane. You've got to be damned sure to never have a low speed off at a petrol station or the like, as you know for sure that everyone is looking! I wish there was a demo bike to have a go on, not that the weather is very good at the mo Give Redline a call - they have an orange one for sale which was their demo bike for the year so they'd probably be happy to let you take it out. Busby
Following this thread with interest Busby, the Kwak with 220+ bhp will really be a special bit of kit... however like I think you are feeling now, if it's "just" another c200bhp bike then it kind of tarnishes the wow factor somewhat. Agree a lot on this point btw. I think Kawasaki might kick themselves if it's true that Yamaha are going to unveil a new R1 which has an 'SP' version with over 200bhp. Busby
That track version is utterly mental. There is a video of it being run at Suzuka and the speed it goes down the straight is something else. Love the guys technique with the paddock stand at the end too! Scotty
Just read the MCN review. It was similarly positive about the H2 and raving about the H2R.
Andy_Bangle
The Ninja H2R made its debut at the Isle of Man TT with James Hillier riding in a parade lap of the Mountain Course. Kawasaki told him to “take it easy”

JonC
Saw a H2 at a bikers café at Waltham Abbey the other weekend. It's sheer demonic on the flesh. Would hate to chip that mirror-finish paint job!
Andy_Bangle
Very trick & big balls While being ridden by Ryuuji Tsuruta at a private test track, this H2R managed to reach an insane 385 km/h (239.3 mph), putting it comfortably ahead of the MV Agusta F4 R 312's previous 310 km/h (193.24 mph) top speed record. However, as the H2R isn't road-legal and is restricted to the racetrack, it can't be considered the world's fastest. Additionally, the supercharged engine of this example has been tweaked from 310 hp to the 400 hp mark, aiding in its performance. Not satisfied with 385 km/h, Trick Star, the Japanese workshop behind this H2R, believes that it can reach 400 km/h (248.6 mph) if a circuit with a longer straight can be found.
