N3WOB
We should take lobbying more seriously..we need a Press Release Stig to represent the Tyresmoker views in the press and to the manaufacturers. We might end up giving ourselves a better chance of getting the product/service we want. There's some great ideas on here! Must remember that we've all got F/T jobs and TSN is free which is great but nevertheless...

Roy32
went to a local show at the weekend where my local stealer had a display. I got chatting to a couple of sales guys and one of them had recently been to VW thing in spain where he was told that the R32 would be released in the last quarter of this year. when I asked him about the R36 he just laughed and said that was just net talk. He said that it would be the new 250bhp 3.2 FSI engine.

Decked
Shawn at Big Boys Toys is getting one soon. He's going to be stripping it for track use. He should be racing it on the final VW CUP Race this season. Unfortunatly he's having to give it to someone abroad but in return he's getting given 2 new Golf GTi's. Not a bad deal!!!! shao_khan
The problem is - which I think may be causing the issues - is that VW have shown off a 'R36' Golf V to certain elements of the motor industry at a viewing event last year along with certain other cars in the pipeline. nicks3
I was waiting for the new R32/36 but after looking at a few Gti's on the road, I juts can't get used to that front end...it seems so weak. So I ordered an A3 3.2 S Line dsg with the new sline bodykit etc. As you say, each to their own.
Woppum
I just phoned to put an order down, but first got them to check with HQ wether it is defo going to be an r36 for 2006. Woppum
No i can't be bothered with that either. At the moment I am quite happy waiting until 2007 for the new M3 or a second hand RS4...
