I have exactly 5h and 10mins to get acquainted with these before I navigate on some car Rally later. I should add that I'm Wingman for Dodge in the Charger in the Classic and Sportscar Magazine Drivers Day out thingy. NewNiceMrMe Posted July 16, 2005 Report Share Posted July 16, 2005 The name Tulip Map isn't just from the way the diagrams are constructed. They were in fact developed on the Tulip Rally in Holland in the 1950s. A few years later someone decided that the same way that a real tulip grows from the bulb to the flower, a rally route using Tulips goes from a ball to an arrow.
