I think, for your sanity, we should take custody of your car and provide you with a Tyresmoke Car Service for wherever you want to go.

At this rate, I think Audi ownership might actually kill you EEK2.GIF

There is one other possibility though and that's that Shorty is some kind of psycho type and he's got your car filled with cameras and he gets some kind of perverse kick out of seeing you getting all stressed about the latest niggle he's engineered into your car....

There can't be many other explanations SPericani2.gif

p.s. CG finally talking about cars bowdown.gifbowdown.giftongue.gif

At the very least it gives you a reason to keep it that long.

No such worries with my folks, my mother doesn't drive and my father has a Audi 80 Coupe and is saving his pennies for an A5.

Although he did have a wobbly moment and was thinking about a SMART EEK2.GIFsuicide.gif

Guess what...................warning light back on!! SAUER0421.GIFSAUER0421.GIFSAUER0421.GIF

The QS is being collected by Shorty on Monday and I am having an equivalent whilst they decide why the light keeps coming on (and going off and coming on) and they can also remove the mad mouse that has returned under the dashboard. smashfreakB.gifsmashfreakB.gif

To say I am jinxed is an understatement. I am laughing now. its hysteria. lol.gif

REJECT....REJECT....

Is it not just a "teething trouble"...?! sportifs2.gif

REJECT IT... When I picked up my S4 there were no problems and haven't had any since. Same with my S3 and A3 1.8TQ, all from new.

The again, maybe I'm over reacting and had the lions share of luck with my motors.

Demand an S4 as compensation 169144-ok.gif

After the run Lottie's had I don't think "reject it" is what she wants to be hearing!

Who knows how a new car will really turn out?

When I picked up my MKIV a while back it didn't teeth whatsover, in fact it was perfect for 6 months and then it set about driving me bonkers for 2 years straight in which pretty much everything that could broke. Often more than.

The S3, however, was back in the dealer's on its 2nd day of life as the PDI had obviously missed the failed and 'fluttering' DV so that got changed. Then after a month one of the headlamp units failed so back it went for a new Xenon unit. Since then, apart from an ESP sensor and Haldex ECU unit (which hurt at the time) its been next-to-faultless over more than 4 years. Who can say?

What it boils down to is how quickly and how well your dealer responds to and fixes the problems you experience. From the sound of it, this might be the weak link in Lottie's Audi ownership experience crazy.gif

Its odd, the light comes on, stays on for about 30 seconds then goes off and does not appear again. Just once a day! I would guess a loose wire somewhere as they've changed the sensor.

the mad squeak mouse has also vanished again.... the windows were, I think, down to human Lottie error....

So do I reject what is otherwise a cracking car (and believe me although I am being gentle this thing is fabulous fun!!) for a hopefully small fault. My lap top had problems with it, my stereo needed a repair, I know not the same as a costly Audi but with my track record the replacement one would probably blow up. ROLLEY~14.GIF Just trying to maintain perspective and not despair....

Anyway, Shorty is coming to my house Monday so my mate is hot footing it round...... 123576-assfeck.gif

Yep, its the light that says Oil - Sensor. not the low oil light (I got to know that one very well with the 2.4 cab....) - it must just be a wire as the sensor is new (as was the other one!!) and it goes off....

I am loathe to reject it as in all honesty if its a loose wire then thats fine and they will sort it. Who knows what may happen with a car?!! Dealer has, again, to their credit been responsive and is picking car up and leaving me with equivalent. Not what I wanted but......so if I reject, no guarantee next one does not have problems. Then i will shoot myself and buy a 1.gif

the QS is brill - Mollox, I can only imagine the fun if this were chipped.....lighter, more flexible and better road handling. Oh dear. FIREdevil.gif

Don't reject! I had a Boxster S in 2001. Countless problems with it and sold it after 10 months. Between that and now I have had 3 great cars, however the only one I regretted selling was my Boxster. I take delivery of my new one tomorrow all being well. If its this much fun at the moment lottie stick with it! I wish I had a few years back. The car looks great and I love those seats. Have fun smile.gif

It must just be me, horrendously bad luck with everything else apart from (touch wood whilst I 1 finger type)picking up my new cars with no faults.

Stick with it LF, if it still drives you bonkers after a couple of months then consider it again. 169144-ok.gif
