Ari
What a nightmare! Some lessons to be learnt there about event organisation and age verification, not that it helps the TT owner. Good that Audi UK are taking responsibility (not that they;ve a choice, it was their event and their car), but like the guy says, I'd be concerned that the car will never be "as new" no matter how good the repair. What is also bad is that it will put companies off hosting such events, or at least the participation events. Sad day. Few of our guys there, wonder if they saw it? Mollox
That story from Castle Coombe is quit incredible. Just goes to show that you just can't escape the growing number of irresponsible, pig-ignorant little scrotes out to take the piss. I do hope Audi sort that poor chap's car and that its 100% perfect. Reading around the story I came across this little excerpt that had me in fits though [ QUOTE ] As one of the stewards approached him, he did a Carl Lewis impression and left the scene on foot. Only to be hotly pursued be a friend of an S2 Forum member and what I suspect were TT owners club members, out of Castle Combe and towards the nearest village. Ten minutes later the lad reappeared having been run down by said friend of S2 Member, and returned to the Audi marquee to sort things out. [/ QUOTE ] Obsessive? Audi Drivers?
