jimmyp
While sitting in the car one morning this week got me thinking, what do i like the most about my R32, and the answer was right there, i was sitting in it, and then i flicked a switch which i haven't done for a while now and it became all nice and warm and made that nice tight snug feeling a whole lot better. Yep i have to say the heated seats do it for me chaps, even over the new found power and sound that i now have. So guys what is your best part of your R32 whether it be the serious power some of you have, the awesome sound of the milltek or equivalent(if your running non standard) or be it something completly different like the seats or the head lights?? Post up your best bits ----------------- DBP R32,REVO,Milltek Hiflow cats and exhaust, tints and uprated sounds.
M5LLO
The brakes are pretty awesome ,but as you say , the heated leather also does it for me!!
Ritey
I don't own one, yet, but the sound of a straight through miltek is what sells it to me

hotdog
Everything! Its the all round package. Speed, performance, quality (some of you may disagree with that) exclusivity. Ticked every box for me
pomme
Same as hotdog, its the whole package for me, from the seats, interior, speed, handling, breaks, looks, exclusivity, and the boring bits: 5 door, ample boot. Just upgrading the sound system now, and that will be my perfect car.
Woppum
Turning in sharply and feeling the front wheels lock and the steering weight up. I could do it all day....
Regulator
Don't the Xenons do it for any of u??
R32Ash
[ QUOTE ] Don't the Xenons do it for any of u?? [/ QUOTE ] Not when they only light up the road for 20ft in front of the car! Note to self: Get them adjusted at service next week.
jimmyp
They are pretty hot especially with the white ultra LED's fitted.
robin09
Thats a good point, I thought Xenons were supposed to improve visibility, mine don't seem to be as good as Halogen even. But they do look nice.
Roy32
Its the mean look of the 32 that does for me, but generaly the whole car is fantastic. I had my Xenons adjusted as they were to low and now they are brilliant.
robin09
I might have to try that Roy. I though being self levelling they wouldnt be able to alter them.
R32Ash
You can do it yourself with the right tools. I think there might even be a 'how to' by Kiyo on here somewhere - if you do a search. I'm just going to ask the Stealer to do it though in case I break something.
R32Ash
I must be bored, I've found Kiyo's 'how to' here
Roy32
As far as I know you can adjust the whole light cluster but to adjust the xenons only you need to do it through vag com, it only took my dealer about 15 minutes to do.
jimmyp
A dealer did mine aswell via there computer, made a big improvement but can we please keep the topic of conversation on the original post and not wander off, cheers.

[/ QUOTE ] Fair point Jimmy. I think for me it's got to be the noise. I can enjoy all the other good points of the R32 without changing my expresssion. But once you have to 'back off' for a corner at a reasonable speed - and change down a gear - who can help but grin?
v6tas
Have to agree with hotdog on this one, the whole package is fantastic. Although saying that the heated seats do come into their own at this time of year, so maybe they would get my vote on cold mornings. Clarkson summed it up however, when reviewing the R32, he said he loves cars like this as "you can take the kids to school then drive home like your pants were on fire
s4dreamer
If there was just one thing, it would be what Woppum said: [ QUOTE ] Turning in sharply and feeling the front wheels lock and the steering weight up. I could do it all day.... [/ QUOTE ] But 4wd, instant power delivery, brakes, heated seats and the way the interior light works are all fantastic. jimmyp
It's good to see different answers from you guys and i thought the heated seats would have a mention being this time of year, they are nice. Nice one lads
Rachel
It looks meaner than the new imposter. It's a limited edition - not a cooking model. It is a great car - no question. I enjoy mine immensely.
Mook
I like the sliding motion of the aluminium fronted cup holders. They're great
MattR32
I also liked the heated seats (especially after a surf!) but also loved the simple but effective dash. Thought the light were actually a bit average - My (auto but halogen) lights on the Astra seem a lot more effective. Wierd.
Smudge
[ QUOTE ] I like the sliding motion of the aluminium fronted cup holders. They're great [/ QUOTE ] Hmmm, I find it reeaaally iseful that when the cup holders are out you can't see or use the Sat Nav correctly. If I'm honest, there isn't one thing that beats sunny days, windows down & tunnels. Bar that, it's just the overall package that I love.
