AudiPartner
Thinking ahead to the new year, what car should I go for? One of these... (thanks for the lend Chris! ) Or, one of these....
Thorburn
A LATE M Coupe! Lighter than an M3 Coupe and less compromised than an M3 Cab. Just make sure its the E46 engine with traction control for less VANOS issues
NeilB
Just make sure the M3 ain't in Phoenix Yellow
garcon magnifique
The ZM Coupe, without a doubt. More focussed, better performance, much rarer. And Cabs are such tart's cars...
bazza_g
ZM Coupe like JHT's one
NewNiceMrMe
Don't buy either. Buy an M3 Coupe in Silver Grey or Steel Grey with Imola Interior and SMGII.

mmj
[ QUOTE ] that's because you've got no taste [/ QUOTE ] True Just can't see why you want to make a little sports car look like an mini estate though?
fjfr
Me & my sis saw a ZM3 coupe (or whatever it is) a while back & my sis burst out laughing - 'what have they done to that sports car?!' You don't want to have that impression with women.... get the M3 cab!
v15ben
I would go for the M Coupe due to rarity value but an M3 CSL does sound like an awesome, if more expensive plan
Snail
Get one of those crazy dutch cars with the M3 engine (cant remember the name, was on top gear)
peterb
[ QUOTE ] Looks like a Reliant Scimitar to me [/ QUOTE ] No way is the Scimitar as ugly as the Z3M Coupe!
AudiPartner
[ QUOTE ] Buy an M3 Coupe in Silver Grey or Steel Grey with Imola Interior and SMGII. [/ QUOTE ] Funny you should say that... a steel grey coupe is also on the cards. Not sure about the Imola interior though.
NewNiceMrMe
They look lovely in that combination. Real stunners IMO. Their resale is very strong too.
GTiMK5
I would wait for the Z4 coupe.
MattR32
There's something worse that resembles the ZM3 Coupe - The 1 series!! But I actually like the daft look - Quirky but kind of cool.
A3Floyd
Neither of the above - i'd go for an old shape M5. Now you're talking. It has the rarity value of the M coupe thingy and stonking performance without the odd breadvan looks of the M coupe. As above, the missus laughed when she saw one on the road. Women are usually much better judges when it comes to style
Ari
Top down, sun in your face, engine dancing around the redline, yowl from the exhausts reverberating off the stone walls and cliffs and reaching you as pure joyous sound unfiltered by a fixed roof, the blue sky above you, warm breeze ruffling your hair, every sight, sound, smell and texture of the air in perfect purity... And you would rather lock yourself away in a tin top? No way. Get the soft top!
Ari
And if you want the smaller lighter 2 seater, no problem!
AudiPartner
I'm afraid not. Z3's, M Power or no M Power, are a big "no no" from me. The breadvan is the only exception. You might be right about the M3 cab though. Coupe's are prolly the better car from a drivers point of view, but how often do you actually get to drive a car. (Don't start - you know what I mean. ) If I bought an M3 Coupe I'd worry that everytime I saw a convertible I'd wish I had that instead. Plus, there's no getting away from it, convertibles with hardtops look buff!
Ari
If you want a convertible, get a convertible. Modern soft tops have so little downside, they're warm, dry, quiet, easy and quick to operate. Some (like my Audi) even have the ability to lose the section in the boot the hood folds into so if you're shifting stuff you can leave the top up and get a larger boot area. Seriously, if you like soft tops then go for it.

[/ QUOTE ] What do you mean? My name is Jeff... Oh, I get it, you're saying you think I've tried to make the plate read "BUFF". If thats the conclusion you've drawn perhaps it hasn't failed hugely.
