cruiser647
thats because merc pulled the plug on maybach a few years ago. It cost them 1.5bn euros. Each car they sold lost them an average of half a million. There ya go Wopps!, take it for a spin in the grounds, on the grass.... A Maybach rally for You Tube - like matey with the roller. Andrew
I have to say none of them float my boat - don't they do a solid colour all over?
Woppum
I have to say none of them float my boat - don't they do a solid colour all over? Of course but think they are dull personally . Car really suits 2 tone IMHO.
Tipex
My personal and boring choice would be black all over, of those three I'm torn between 1 and 3, think I'd go for 3 due to less silver, if keeping it clean was an issue (not likely to be) then 1 as the silver sides hide dirt better than any other colour. NewNiceMrMe
Option 3. Though they all suit the car in my opinion.

Torino101
Option 3 for me too. Have to agree with Tipex though - am staggered at the residual cost of the Bach. Who the hell is in the market for a 165k mile über über limo? I can only think of possibly wedding car type purchases. Can't believe there would be any market privately??? Andrew
My dad's old S Class went for a really good price (almost too good to be true) and it went out to the Far East.
Torino101
Then you find cars like this.... Cruiser would run a mile due to the milage. But if genuine that's a hell of a lot of car for probably 12.5k at a haggle. cruiser647
Then you find cars like this.... Cruiser would run a mile due to the milage. Too right!!! It's missing a '0' at the end to interest me!
garcon magnifique
I was tempted to buy a Lexus LS400 from a Lexus dealer once as a daily barge. I think it was 6 years old and it would have come with their full standard used warranty. Mileage? 260,000. Barely run in.

Scotty
With regards Maybach residuals, for a company maybe it portrays a much much expensive image than it costs and hence is good value (relatively)
Woppum
I think 10% of original value is not surprising for such a car of these miles.
Tipex
I was tempted to buy a Lexus LS400 from a Lexus dealer once as a daily barge. I think it was 6 years old and it would have come with their full standard used warranty. Mileage? 260,000. Barely run in. A friend of mine is a director at a very well known civil engineering company, and as a result, does ridiculous mileage. He will only drive 'Lexi' and always buys them off the company once they are replaced every 3 years or so and passes them on to family members etc, he's the only person in the car so they are always immaculate, no kids or anything, up and down the motorways all day. The company off loads them at 400k miles, yes, four hundred thousand miles, and he's never had a single fault with any one of them, nor have any of his family or friends he's passed them on too. I think you'd be hard pressed to find a more reliable car, or one with better longevity. Last time I asked him, his wife's RX 400 had just ticked over to 600k, and that was over a year ago.
