Does it include light and rain sensors? If not, then why would you opt for these and pay extra when the auto dimming rear view mirror is already included in the comfort pack? Tizzy Posted February 26, 2006 Report Share Posted February 26, 2006 Not sure what this is on the B7 version, mine has auto-dipping interior & exterior r/v/mirrors and they are great. It also has the auto lights, which lights up driveway / garage for 30 secs - also good but you do get a bit fed up of people telling you that you've left your lights on. I've experienced rain-sensors on some vw rental cars - based on them, I wouldn't bother, they were way too slow to react to heavy rain, and you always had to manually override them for safety. I've done a little investigating and the comfort pack is purely related to seat and mirror options. Rain and light sensors are a separate option, which also includes the auto dimming rear view mirror, so it would appear you must pay for this option twice to get it all. Although from what you say its not worth worrying about the sensors in any case. Anyone out there have any experience with these options on the B7? The Audi Configurator (which to be honest is ) doesn't refer to it at all. My dealer wasn't even sure what it would contain beyond seat and mirror functions!! Auto wipers come with Auto lights and the dimming rear view mirror. I guess I will find out soon enough. timtuonos4 Posted March 20, 2006 Report Share Posted March 20, 2006 when i first placed the order i thought the comfort pack (inc the auto rear mirror)had the light&rain sensors+the coming home.it was only when i read the messages on this topic that i had doubts,the opt equip shows the sensors etc are a 200 squid extra,thats why i thought i was lucky to get them.it would be nice to see if anyone else gets them with only ordering the comfort pack Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
