So when are you changing the alloys then Mick?, I'm sure you'll get bored of them soon if your S3 was anything to go by! wink.gif

How do you find the power compared to say an S3 in standard form?

I can't really remember what my S3 was like before it was chipped it's been so long.

It does seem pretty reasonable performance wise but nowhere near as quick as my S3. I think the standard ST220 gets to 60 in around 6.8 - 7.0 seconds which isn't too bad.

But, just watch the petrol gauge go down like the rev counter goes up blush.gif

Ford 6's like juice and old one's (pre ST 2.5) loved main crankshaft bearings.

I had one as a Company car for 2 years and it had 2 new lower blocks, just glad I had a fuel card.

No worse than a R32 (19 mpg over 3 years) or even a chipped S3 (22-24 mpg??).

Enjoy the motor.

Those V6's rev totally different to the R32.. Yes the R32 is not a true Vee but still I think a Nice car in the ST220!! I see loads of them at work tho...

You could have some fun if you got a blue light kit off ebay..
