If you are interested I will expect some proof that you have finance in place.

Wow, is that code for 'I'm not really trying to sell this car...'

No offence Chris, but there is no way I would be demonstrating 'proof that I can afford it'. I understand that you don't want to waste any time / energy, but the phraseology is really off putting.

Just my 2 cents worth. Good luch with the sale!

Just trying to nip dreamers 169144-ok.gif.

Tell me you've never had someone test drive and then say "I'll see what my bank manager says" or "Shame I haven't got that much" NONO3.GIF.

If someone wants a car from me I don't p155 them about and I wouldn't expect it to happen the other way round, that little sentence is my attempt to control the time wasting znaika.gif.

It's not as if I'm a showroom, wanting to sell funding.

So in essence I do expect a potential purchaser to:-

1. Want the car

2. Have the sense to have finance in place before viewings

I don't expect viewing of notes £££ or contents of a bank account, just a simple verbal confirmation that finance is not as much of a dream, as ownership would be 169144-ok.gifSMOKE6.GIF.

Are you saying that I'm not being fair?

The advert is ethical and honest, I'm seeking similar ethics from the potential purchaser.

Having sold 20+ cars of £10k value I have solid experience of "I wish" type viewers and I have neither the time or energy to waste on such persons.
