djcool
You have £50k to spend on as little or as many cars as you like for an "perfect garage" but on a budget. Make allowances for your girlfriend/wife to have a car and maybe something for the weekend, as well as daily driver! What would you get? I think I'd go for the following 1. 12 Month old Focus TDCi for the girlfriend. @ £10-12k 2. 12 Months old Mondeo ST TDCi 155 (with options) for my daily driver. @ £17k 3. '99 Audi S4 Bi-Turbo remapped for a play car @ £10k 4. '98 Lotus Elise for a weekend car @ £10k I realise many will be lucky enough to have a garage worth far in excess of £50k anyway, but for those of us who haven't........ Ari
Audi RS4 Cabriolet. All the cars you could ever need. (Or an S4 if £50K won't stretch to an RS4, not sure exactly how much they are). Very fast, extremely comfortable, stylish, decent sized boot, seating for four, quiet, safe, refined, and all the offroad ability of a Porsche Cayenne Turbo S (not much).
