AGK512
[ QUOTE ] [ QUOTE ] Now this is what i want.... HPA FT575 R32 HPA R32 [/ QUOTE ] Some of you may have notice that the car was originally a gti which has been converted to an R32. It must have cost a bomb to transplant the engine and drivetrain, not forgetting the difficulty. Wonder why they did not import an MKV R32 instead. [/ QUOTE ] I think you'll find it started life as a 4motion. pretty sure it on a thread here a couple of months back

Maxyboy
[ QUOTE ] [ QUOTE ] Don't need to speculate anymore. R36 Passat is confirmed for world premiere at the 2006 Essen motor show. http://www.worldcarfans.com/news.cfm/cou...ssen-motor-show [/ QUOTE ] Can some guys who think they are funny and ahead of the game stop and think. Yes there is a Passat R36 but this does not mean there wont be a Golf R36/RSI. If you have only just learned of the Passat, then you are very much behind the times. lenny
Found this today But it only will be the fastest car of the line to 2007. To counterstrike expected attacks, for instance of BMW or Audi, Wolfsburg is preparing the implantation of a 3.6 litre FSI engine. As the displacement rate indicates, VW not only pays attention to competitive power but also to decent torque. Regarding the bhp rate, insiders report of at least 280, possibly full 300! And, just if required, the engineers could easily lure a few additional ponies out of the FSI motor. But, gimmicks as direct gear shift box and four wheel drive also result in a few extra kilos. Which means, there is still potential for an even faster Golf. That's why a lighter Golf R36 version - perhaps as a limited edition - is conceivable as well, as the case may be to answer any attacks from Munich or Ingolstadt. Because, the leadership in the hot hatch segment is a main priority of VW boss Herr Pischetsrieder. Very good! We relish the prospect of experiencing the results! charding370
Well spotted The 280 bhp is in line with what I heard. The front bumper seems to have that new R range look.
