S3ENVY
Azure, you couldn't scan and post the spec sheet could you? I'm sure it would be of great interest to everyone on here....or is it classified.

Mollox
Only mention of options is this: "Option prices mirror those available for Sport / S line models. Prices for the unique S3 quattro items, for example, flat bottom design steering wheel and front bucket seats will be published when available." david_d
hmm, I dunno. Still not sure If I'm gonna go for the S3, especially when you see the TT looking this good http://www.audiforum.nl/phpBB2/files/wr-tt-4_146.jpg
Paul
I am open to the new TT design, and some pictures look fantastic. But, in my opinion, that pic does not do the new TT any favours at all. looks bland
S3ENVY
I hate to say it, but that TT isn't going to be looking "that" cool when you're sat at lights next to some bimbo in an identical car. (Waiting to be gunned - ) The whole appeal of the S3 for me is the understated appearance of the vehicle. The TT (new or old) does and will continue to turn the "wrong" sort of heads for me and for the wrong reasons. Maybe it's a London thing, but nearly everytime I see a TT you can tell it's being driven by someone who's bought it for the way it looks and not what it is....I like the cult surrounding the S3, it gets the right sort of attention IMO. RedRobin
[ QUOTE ] See what your saying but i bought my car for the looks and image otherwise Id have just bought a golf! [/ QUOTE ] ....Funny you should say that but one of the reasons I chose my Mk5 GTI over an A3/S3 was the looks and image. I would deff like to test drive this new S3 when it's available though . I like turbo'd cars.
gizze
Saw loads fo TTs down in St. Tropez last week and have to say I was really bowled over by the looks, really didn't like the feminine looks of the first one but I like the new one alot. RedRobin
I don't see how one can compare a TT with an S3 - They each offer such different features.
Mollox
Because in their original guises they were 99.9% the same car with a differnt shell on and its not that different this time Although the S3 always handled better
Arex
Dumb assed question, I know, but what actually is "Black Silk nappa upholstery"? According to dictionary.com, "nappa" is a kind of Chinese cabbage.
DHA
Its the name for audi leather I think.
Mollox
I thought it might be one above 'normal leather', is that right? A better strain of cow

If you were 'married' with kids etc, the TT is a non-starter unless as a second car. I'm meaning it's a "lifestyle' difference. Also huge image difference. Paul
The original S3's always came with silk nappa leather unless you spec'd the alcantara so nothing new there.
blix
the nappa leather was originaly introduced in scotland so that lorry drivers could get their head down in the back.
