PetrolDave Posted August 18, 2006 Report Share Posted August 18, 2006 In Europe the shark fin has a GPS antenna for sat nav plus the phone antenna, and is only fitted if you order one (or both) of those options. In the US the sharkfin also has an antenna for their satellite radio systems (XM and Sirius), and since all US cars are pre-wired for the satellite radios all US cars (Sedans and Avants) have a shark fin fitted.
