Soapsuds
Just to let you know, it's currently pi55ing it down up here, but the MetCheck weather forecast for sunday is a little cloud but mostly sunny!!! Bear in mind if you do look at the weather forecast, its not in Buxton where we are meeting. Buxton is always wet. Look up Stockport, or pop in the location postcode..... I'll save washing and waxing my car until sunday morning then!!!
NewNiceMrMe
Indeed, the forecast has improved in the Northeast too. I should, with any luck, be able to leave at 8.30am to meet up with Jimdiesel at 10.30am without getting any rain en route. Mind you, it's a horrid day here right now and the forecast wasn't predicting it!
garcon magnifique
Severe weather warning for NW England this morning! I think that'll be the tropical monsoon we had in London last night... Hopefully it'll be a bit drier on Sunday, though I can confirm the Cat & Fiddle is great "fun" in the wet. NewNiceMrMe
Which reminds me, I can only stay until about 2.00pm, or 2.30pm at the very latest. So I may well have to disappear before the run-out, which will be a shame but can't be avoided I'm afraid.
Chris_B
Will you have time to polish your exhausts though? I'll be heading up to the Buxton area on Saturday, so even if I was the car Saturday morning, expect it to be filthy by Sunday. If anyone is offended by dirty and unkempt cars, I suggest they avoid looking at mine.
P_G
I thought I may be able to sneak this one in but I have been told in no uncertain terms that if I do P_G Jnr will be the first and last I'll contribute to making if I do. So have fun everyone!

garcon magnifique
Well the pub's on the A6, so I'd blame the Highways Agency if it's muddy. Mind you, I reckon we can find plenty of muck and sheep crap and such on a suitable back road up to the C&F...
lottiefox
Anyone heading up from the South? Well, Warwickshire really - but that way anyway? The turtle is truly filthy. Minging. and I am not sure I'll get time to wash her. I think she may be back at the litle men with wash mitts down the road...
Chris_B
Just bring turtle dirty; it will keep my dirty car company, and it will give the cleanfreaks palpitations.

lottiefox
All the more food to be ordered for us! I am making some badges. They are in the style of Blue Peter as I don't have a colour printer and can't do clever things with graphics.
