AZURES3
Thanks for this list that is great. The Nokia N80 has been recalled as it has several major software issues 1 of which is the lack of ability to hold bluetooth connectivity for longer than about 2 minutes, other include rebooting randomly, crashing, taking 5 mins to send a text and poor signal strength. The updated software for the phones will be available in November I also have a Blackberry 7100t hope that work too when the N80 is fixed, can you pair more than 1 phone ? craigyb
You can pair with upto 4 phones, but only use 1 at once.

badgera
On test drive I tried my Nokia 6021 which worked fine, however the standard BT code does not seem to recognise multiple numbers per entry so instead of having home/mobile etc per under a single person entry you have to create "joe Bloggs - Mobile", "Joe Bloggs Home" etc. Other than that an excellent system, I wasn't going to go for this option, but after testing it I counld'nt not haave it. PetrolDave
With my SE K610i paired with the Audi BT interface all the numbers for a contact are shown on the RNS-E screen with an icon next to them to show mobile, home, or work. Vertigo1
Out of interest, on those phones where the full phonebook transfer works properly, such as my 6230i, does it access the handset's phonebook or that of the SIM? My dealer seemed to think it was only the SIM. If it is the handset's (please God!), how does it handle entries with multiple numbers under them? shark_90
[ QUOTE ] Just noticed the K800i in the list. So now just need to know about the W850i. Cheers [/ QUOTE ] The K800i works perfectly with MMI, but it still glitchy on my A4 RNS-E. I now have a P990i which is generally OK, but has a nasty habit of dropping the bluetooth for no reason at all, sometimes during a call, but unlike the K800i (which keeps disconnecting in a cycle) the P990i stays connected again. WHich makes it even harder to track down the cause of the problem
Stitcher
Just purchased a Motorola KRZR K1. I have a 06 Plate A4 loan car from Audi at the moment until my Q7 arrives and phone initially pairs but connections drops off after 30 seconds and will not load phone book. Phoned Audi who advised me that it will not work with my Q7 either as the KRZR uses as class 2 profile and not class 1 which Audi bluetooth fully supports. Anyone found the same issue with the KRZR
