Woppum
If you swing the controller, does it swing the racket? Sort of Virtual Reality?
Thorburn
Yes, it uses motion sensors. This has been the big thing that people have been talking about for months. This is what we've been talking when we've been saying its aiming to be something totally different to PS3/360 and is trying to attract different people. Woppum
Sounds interesting, if it works. If I was a sceptic I could say its just another gimmicky technology to go wrong. Bit im not. It looks like good clean family fun. However now the X-Box has reached the £200 mark I still think Nintendo have got their work cut out. X-Box is the tip of the tongue for most children and its going to need to be pretty damn special for parents to think differently.

[/ QUOTE ] I think you have a good point there wopps, for a lot of kids these days 'playsation' means games console, and it may soon be 'xbox' that is said, for years it was 'little johnny is playing Nintendo' even if he was playing on his computer or a master sytsem. Similar to people saying they are going to do the hoovering, they weren't all using hoovers! What is cool usually sells the best, Sony got it absolutely spot on with the PSX, they marketed it at the 20 somethings, the club scene, the teenagers wanted to be that age, the thirty year olds wanted to be a part of that still and the actual 20 somethings were so off their heads they didn't care what the gameplay was like! As long as you DJ's such as 'The man like...' putting the tunes together for a game you had a winner. I think the big N will find it hard, which is a real shame.
