Chav
Collected the new cab this morning! Found a couple of nice extras that the sales chap didn't know the car had... So spec seems to be 3.0 TDI Quattro S-line, Manual, Metallic Black/Black roof/Black Leather, RNS-E, TV, Heated seats front & rear, Parking front & rear, cd changer, accoustic hood, elec folding/heated mirrors and interior light pack. Not sure what list price is, but £32K seemed pretty reasonable as the car is as new. Very pleased so far. Seems a good all-rounder and the fuel needle has hardly gone down - Weird but nice
Sparky
Have you bought it then! Is it time to remind you of all the jibes you made against us Sooty drivers? Glad you're pleased with it!

Chav
Hmm. According to the G/F I really need to practise gear changing in 1st and 2nd - so either I'm not smooth or the car isn't! It's noticeably faster than the 3.0 petrol though. Just need to get used to driving a manual regularly again! Here's one of those compulsory cheesey pics ....
Sparky
It will take a little while to get used to the different gearbox and the extra torque you'll have in 1st/2nd. Lovely looking car

Enjoy the weekend and hope to see some more pics

Alastair_A3
Very nice car Chav, did you buy it from Chester Audi? Are those Globe shoes your wearing? If so i have the exact same pair
Chav
Thanks for the positive comments guys! Haven't had much time to enjoy the car yet, but just filled it up (I notice the fuel cap says "DIESEL" in huge letters all over it!) and it reckons 450 miles to the tank (which is smaller than the last one). I've done mainly urban so far, so when I get on the motorway it's going to give well over 500 to a tank I think. Obviously I've already kerbed a wheel - doh! Just a tiny scuff, but it's nice to know my talents haven't faded with old age!

If so i have the exact same pair [/ QUOTE ] Yes it's from Chester. Been checking the used website a few times a week, and just missed out on a 3.2Q cab last week at Macclesfield. I was mainly looking for one with plenty of toys, but after test-driving the 3.0TDI I have to say I'm converted. I've lost the lovely burble of the V6 petrol and gained some funny spanner-like sounds, but there's so much torque - not used to it (even in the S4). And yep, they're globe trainers. I'm addicted to that trainer shop next to Next in chester opposite the Grosvenor.
