Oli
In fact Ive just looked again at the cheap RS4 in Horesham and those wheels spoil it, they make it look more like an S-line than an RS4.

Those are the wheels the vehicle was designed with ride/handling wise! If I was buying an RS4 I'd definately choose the 18 inch 5 spokes over the 19 inch bling ones [/ QUOTE ] Sorry, but I dont believe this. On such a focused car like the RS4, if it was designed to work best with the 18's, surely they would be standard And I cant believe anyone would choose them over the 19's

I think the wheels we are discussing are actually a cost option! Might be wrong though, im sure someone will correct me

Tizzy
Both the cars I've looked at recently have had the 18" wheel option and IMO they look really good - the wheel is slimmer and quite different to the RS6 five spoke wheel and nothing at all like those of the S-Line. I'm quite keen to go for the 18's if I go for one, they look nicely different from the normal RS4. Anyone who thinks an RS4 looks remotely like an S-Line needs to visit their optician (now the B7 S4 on the other hand, looks almost exactly like an S-Line!! - quad zorts apart)

Gareth
[ QUOTE ] The £45K (ish) RS4 has now arrived chaps (see below) didn't take that long did it. It's at Truro Audi and sounds good - bet the plate's not included - and shame I really don't want a red one (and it's a blo*dy long way from Lincolnshire!) Audi Rs4 4.2 quattro Finished in Misano Red with a Black Race Cloth/leather interior £45,995 Mileage: * 5,169 miles Registered: Mar 2006 Transmission: Manual Fuel: Petrol Registration: RS04RED I've also now managed a look at the Green RS4 - in the flesh it looks quite good actually - the green is so dark it looks virtually black (there's a Jaguar colour that's much the same) so the car looks very good - to my eyes anyway. I thought it was my car (that i didn't take, for a minute) but mine had leather and was full of options. If you fancy finding out more about it, ask for Steve at Carr's Audi. We were discussing the TT's that used to be used at Brands. They would return to Audi and have the components subject to most wear replaced and then they were inserted into the 2nd hand market. I guess it's a matter of opinion whether one's a good buy or not.
Nelson_R32
We actually had a Customer purchase a Silver B5 S4 when they first came out and a week later he saw it being ragged around a Track on some motoring programme.
